Fan mod brings LEGO Star Wars to Battlefront II
Star Wars Battlefront II has a new fan mod that turns the characters into LEGO minifigures.
With fans impatiently waiting for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which is due to arrive on October 20, FegeeWaters has created a mod for Star Wars: Battlefront II that changes the characters into their LEGO minifigures.
In this video from the YouTube channel Bombastic, fans can get a look at the mod in action and see LEGO Star Wars characters causing carnage within the authentic maps of Battlefront II.
Seeing the serious, realistic Star Wars world of Battlefront II invaded by LEGO minifigures is an absolute delight, with the juxtaposition providing some great comedic moments. As if that wasn’t amusing enough, seeing the realistic characters suddenly get LEGO heads or the LEGO characters holding a realistic weapon is entertaining too.
“Just seeing this makes me feel like I can’t wait for the Skywalker Saga because this is basically what it’s going to be,” says Bombastic host Andrew. “It’s going to be high textured, high graphics, LEGO characters in highly developed worlds.”
